Tamper proof snap frames
A4 and A2 sizes offer a great way to prevent people from interfering with your signs and notices. Manufactured from 25mm wide secure profile with a tamper-resistant design which cannot easily be opened without the special lever tool.
Anodised Aluminium finish, complete with poster protector, tamper-resistant design offering protection against theft and interference.
Tamper-proof frames require a lever tool to open the frame as otherwise, the profile makes it almost impossible to open the frame.
Tamperproof snap frames are technically 'tamper resistant' and cheaper than the alternative Lockable Snap Frames or Poster Cases (with a hinged locking door) which may also be considered if the budget will permit.
Secure snap frames are ideal for displaying advertising in locations such as nightclub toilets where there is a higher risk of vandalism. The usual finger-tip recess found on typical snap frames is omitted and extra springs are fitted making secure snap frames very hard to open up the frame, even with determination and strong fingernails.

Secure or tamper proof snap frames offer a low-cost vandal resistant solution to displaying posters in public areas. The secure frame, a.k.a. security snap frame or tamper resist snap frame, offer snap action poster change convenience with restricted access to non-authorised users.
Opening secure snap frames without a lever tool is hard and will prevent casual tampering. You may also wish to consider our lockable snap frames and lockable poster cases as alternatives, especially for larger sizes which we do not stock in the secure version.
These secure frames can be used outside but they are not 100% waterproof. If long term notices are to be displayed outdoors there are two security options. The first is to print signs on waterproof paper. The second option is to use a waterproof lockable snap frame.
Consider if you need a tamper-proof poster frame. The type of posters which are especially vulnerable is desirable trophy items - for example, posters advertising bands, cult events or containing pictures of teen pin-ups.
Size Information for aluminium snap frames(Secure)
The width of the surround is 2.5cm = 25mm or 1 inch
Front to back depth of 25mm profile snap frame: 12mm (approx 1/2 inch)
A4 relates to the size of paper an A4 frame will fit.
A narrow strip around the edge of your print is hidden when the frame is closed. Visible poster size: 22mm less than actual poster (i.e. 11mm all round your poster is hidden by the frame surround)

Fix snap frames using screws
The best way to permanently fix snap frame is with screws.
Screws and plastic wall plugs are included with every snap frame we supply
The wall plugs are for use with masonry walls such as brick and most plastered walls
When screwing onto wood the plugs are not needed
A power drill and screwdriver are required for screw fixing (and we recommend using a spirit level and tape measure to ensure the frames are properly aligned). If in doubt please consult a proficient DIY or trades person.
